Harrison Begins Korean Worship
Beginning today, there will be a Korean worship service held here every Sunday in our Sanctuary, from 1-2 p.m. Please welcome Pastor Kim and our new worshippers. “This is our most recent step in bringing people from all languages and tongues together to worship Christ at Harrison Church,” says Pastor Tim, Associate Pastor & Director of International Ministries. The Korean congregation will also have lunch from 2-3 p.m. on Sundays in Building 100. Praise God that there is now an opportunity for Korean–speaking people to learn about Jesus Christ and to become his disciples at Harrison.

Next Step-Harrison UMC Capital Campaign
“What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)
The “Next Step” is the name of the new Capital Campaign that is in the works for this fall. The purpose of the campaign is to allow us to move forward on God’s plan for Harrison. I know that just as God has a plan for each of us he has a plan for his people at Harrison. We began preparing for this campaign this spring and have been doing things “behind the scenes” ever since. We have events scheduled this fall and we want to involve the whole church in this process. We have engaged Larry Dean, of INJOY to help us with the campaign. Our campaign will be structured in a team format. Many of you have already been contacted to be on one of the teams. I would like to encourage everyone to try to serve in some capacity. If you would like to volunteer please us know. Thank you, Next Step Capital Campaign Committee
